Education: research master developmental psychology, Leiden University

"During my study I became interested in developmental neuroscience and clinical practice with children and adolescents. I did my internship and wrote my thesis in the Brain & Development Lab of Prof. Dr. Eveline Crone. Currently I am working as a PhD. student on the EPISCA project coordinated by Curium-LUMC. This project gives me the opportunity to combine neuroscience and clinical practice. Furthermore, I really enjoy it to work with adolescents. Within the project, I focus on the longitudinal data of the internalizing patient group and the control group. More specifically, I investigate the test-re-test reliability of the paradigm used in this study (emotional faces task) and the longitudinal resting state data. With the results of this study, I hope we acquire more in depth information about the onset of internalizing disorders during adolescents."
